let’s make a commitment this week to add one new healthy food or take off one old unhealthy food we eat out of habit.
an example would be always having a sweet treat with coffee everyday. what if we left the sweet treat off and replaced it with a small handful of almonds or pistachios or grapes?
or how about our coffee – we could replace any sugar or sugar-based flavors with Splenda and use 1% milk or fat-free half-and-half in place of cream.
the same idea can be used for replacing any high-fat, high-sugar, high-calorie snacks at night time with great tasting lighter fare that actually helps us sleep sounder and wake up feeling good – instead of hung over from junk fuel. if we make the decision to change one daily habit, by the end of the week i believe we will see a difference.
let’s make up our minds to go for it!
